Switches (switching only) .
This range of passive infra-red occupancy switches is designed for the automatic control of lighting loads with the additional benefit of manual temporary intervention when used with a retractive wall switch (momentary). The controls are hard wired version and can be mounted directly onto solid ceilings or onto a range of different mounting boxes. The PIR switch will switch ON the connected load automatically when an area is occupied, and then switch it OFF automatically when the area has been vacant for a chosen duration (time lag). This has the benefits of reduced energy bills and automatic control. When being used to control lighting, the built-in photocell can be used to keep the lights off on bright days. Short visit and exit mode function. Suitable for switching mains output. SHORT VISIT MODE: If you are visiting a room for a short time you can operate the wall switch. The lights will then just stay ON for just 30 seconds before switching OFF and does not stay on for the rest of its set time lag. After 30 seconds, any other detected movement will bring the lights ON again, for the regular set time lag.
