Switches for DALI dimmable ballasts.
High Bay PIR occupancy switches with closed loop control for DALI (broadcast) ballasts The DANLERS range of HIGH BAY passive infra-red (PIR) occupancy switches is specifically designed for the automatic control of lighting loads in areas with demanding mounting heights such as factories, storage aisles, entrance halls and sports halls. They can be used to control up to 20 high frequency DALI dimmable ballasts. They also include a relay with special high surge contact material, so they are suitable for use with high bay LED lamps. Each product incorporates a passive infra-red quad sensor to detect movement of a warm body within its detection zone and a photocell to monitor the ambient light level. All standard high bay controls are hard wired and can be mounted directly onto solid ceilings or onto a range of different mounting boxes. These controls operate by Absence Detection. It requires a retractive (momentary) switch to be pressed when a person enters the room. This will switch the lights ON and enable the PIR switch to control the load. The load will automatically be switched OFF or to its reduced lux level (minimum) when no further movement is detected for its RUN-ON time. RUN-ON SET TO 0 SECONDS: When an area is no longer occupied the control will switch OFF from the maintained lux level after a pre-selected time lag (10 seconds to 40 minutes in 9 steps) if the RUN-ON timer is set a 0 seconds. RUN-ON SET TO 1 MINUTE TO 30 MINUTES: When an area is no longer occupied the control will dim down to a minimum setting from the maintained lux level after a pre-selected time lag (10 seconds to 40 minutes in 9 steps) if the RUN-ON timer is set from 1-30 minutes. The lights will stay ON at this reduced level for the pre-selected RUN-ON time then switch the lights OFF. If the PIR detects movement of a warm body while the RUN-ON is timing down the lights will switch ON to the maintained (maximum) lux level. RUN-ON SET TO INFINITE: When an area is no longer occupied the control will dim down to a minimum setting from the maintained lux level after a pre-selected time lag (10 seconds to 40 minutes in 9 steps) if the RUN-ON timer is set at infinite. The lights will stay ON at the reduced (minimum) lux level indefinitely until movement of a warm body is detected then the lights will switch ON at maximum and then to the maintained lux level. Please note: Maximum and minimum levels would be set within the ballast NOT the DANLERS control.

Daylight linked dimming with occupancy switching. For controlling DALI (broadcast) dimmable ballasts. These controls have an integral DALI Power Supply Unit suitable for use with up to 12 DALI ballasts, assuming each ballast has a constant current output of 1mA. These controls can also switch up to 6 amps (1500W) of dimmable fluorescent lamps. 2 amps (500W) of CFL, LED Drivers and LED lamps and fittings.
