CESRA PIR DALI can be used to control up to 20 high frequency DALI dimmable ballasts (broadcast). They incorporate a passive infra-red quad sensor to detect movement of a warm body within its detection zone and a photocell to monitor the ambient light level. These products are hard wired and can be mounted directly onto solid ceilings or onto a range of different mounting boxes. CESRA PIR DALI operates by Absence Detection. It requires a retractive (momentary) switch to be pressed when a person enters the room. This will switch the lights ON and enable the PIR switch to control the load. The load will automatically be switched OFF or to its reduced lux level (minimum) when no further movement is detected for its RUN-ON time.

Daylight linked dimming with occupancy switching. For controlling DALI dimmable ballasts (broadcast only). The external DALI power supply provided can control up to 40mA, eg. 20 ballasts at 2mA (varies according to make and model of ballasts). For greater numbers of ballasts (64 max.)additional external DALI Power supplies can be purchased (DANLERS order code: DBPSU). These controls can also switch up to 6 amps (1500W) of dimmable fluorescent lamps. 2 amps (500W) of CFL, LED Drivers and LED lamps and fittings.
