CESRA PIR DSIP can be used to control up to 12 high frequency DSI dimmable ballasts. They incorporate a passive infra-red quad sensor to detect movement of a warm body within its detection zone and a photocell to monitor the ambient light level. These products are hard wired and can be mounted directly onto solid ceilings or onto a range of different mounting boxes. CESRA PIR DSIP operates by Absence Detection. It requires a retractive (momentary) switch to be pressed when a person enters the room. This will switch the lights ON and enable the PIR switch to control the load. The load will automatically be switched OFF or to its reduced lux level (minimum) when no further movement is detected for its RUN-ON time.

Daylight linked dimming with occupancy switching. For controlling DSI dimmable ballasts. These controls have an integral DSI Power Supply Unit suitable for use with up to 12 DSI ballasts, assuming each ballast has a constant current output of 1mA. These controls can also switch up to 6 amps (1500W) of dimmable fluorescent lamps. 2 amps (500W) of CFL, LED Drivers and LED lamps and fittings.
