Ceiling surface-mounted PIR occupancy switches with closed loop control for DSI ballasts CESR PIR DSI can be used to control up to 20 high frequency DSI dimmable ballasts. They incorporate a passive infra-red quad sensor to detect movement of a warm body within its detection zone and a photocell to monitor the ambient light level. These products are hard wired and can be mounted directly onto solid ceilings or onto a range of different mounting boxes. CESR PIR DSI operates by Presence Detection. The PIR switch will automatically switch the lights ON when a person enters the room. It will automatically switch the load OFF or to its reduced lux level (minimum) when no further movement is detected for its RUN-ON time.

Daylight linked dimming with occupancy switching. For controlling DSI dimmable ballasts. The external DSI power supply provided can control up to 40mA, eg. 20 ballasts at 2mA (varies according to make and model of ballasts). For greater numbers of ballasts (64 max.)additional external DSI Power supplies can be purchased (DANLERS order code: DBPSU). These controls can also switch up to 6 amps (1500W) of dimmable fluorescent lamps. 2 amps (500W) of CFL, LED Drivers and LED lamps and fittings.
