PIR occupancy switches with daylight linked dimming
![]() CEFL PIR 10VDC |
Ceiling flush-mounted PIR occupancy switches with closed loop control for 1-10V ballasts CEFL PIR 10VDC and CEFLA PIR 10VDC can be used to control up to 20 high frequency 1-10V dimmable ballasts. They incorporate a passive infra-red quad sensor to detect movement of a warm body within its detection zone and a photocell to monitor the ambient light level. The products can be flush mounted into suspended and plasterboard ceilings. Product code: CEFL PIR 10VDC and CEFLA PIR 10VDC |
CEFL PIR 10VDC (Presence detection)
CEFL PIR 10VDC operates by Presence Detection. The PIR switch will automatically switch the lights ON when a person enters the room. It will automatically switch the load OFF or to its reduced lux level (minimum) when no further movement is detected for its RUN-ON time.
CEFLA PIR 10VDC (Absence detection - momentary switch required)
CEFLA PIR 10VDC operates by Absence Detection. It requires a retractive (momentary) switch to be pressed when a person enters the room. This will switch the lights ON and enable the PIR switch to control the load. The load will automatically be switched OFF or to its reduced lux level (minimum) when no further movement is detected for its RUN-ON time.
Run-on timer - Step down illuminance
RUN-ON SET TO 0 SECONDS: When an area is no longer occupied the control will switch OFF from the maintained lux level after a pre-selected time lag (10 seconds to 40 minutes in 9 steps) if the RUN-ON timer is set a 0 seconds.
RUN-ON SET TO 1 MINUTE TO 30 MINUTES: When an area is no longer occupied the control will dim down to a minimum setting from the maintained lux level after a pre-selected time lag (10 seconds to 40 minutes in 9 steps) if the RUN-ON timer is set from 1-30 minutes.
The lights will stay ON at this reduced level for the pre-selected RUN-ON time then switch the lights OFF. If the PIR detects movement of a warm body while the RUN-ON is timing down the lights will switch ON to the maintained (maximum) lux level.
RUN-ON SET TO INFINITE: When an area is no longer occupied the control will dim down to a minimum setting from the maintained lux level after a pre-selected time lag (10 seconds to 40 minutes in 9 steps) if the RUN-ON timer is set at infinite.
The lights will stay ON at the reduced (minimum) lux level indefinitely until movement of a warm body is detected then the lights will switch ON at maximum and then to the maintained lux level.
Please note: Maximum and minimum levels could be set within the ballast NOT the DANLERS control.

For optimum coverage recommended mounting height between 2.4 and 5m
Covering large areas
To cover large areas it is advisable to install one CEFL PIR 10VDC (CEFLA PIR 10VDC ) to dim and a few CEFL PIR to switch
